John attended St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY and studied Biology and Chemistry.  John started his professional career as a High School Teacher in 1985. In 1988, John joined the Suffolk County Police Department in New York where he currently holds the rank of Sergeant. John began his financial services career in 2002 and formed Balanced Financial Solutions, Inc. in 2004. Our company works as a team to provide protection to our client’s families, businesses and assets.  Pension planning and 401(k) plans are a large part of our business.  John helps other Police Officers from all over the country plan for their retirements and protect their families.

John is a member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, the Fraternal Order of Police, Southampton Chamber of Commerce, and Westhampton Yacht Squadron.  John is enrolled in graduate studies in Homeland Security Management at Long Island University.  John enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, sailing, and spending time with his family. John and his wife Colleen have twins, Brendan and Catherine.
